Kenilworth Rugby Football Club has, for many years, had an excellent Colts set-up with numerous players starting their rugby careers in the Minis and progressing through to the Colts, 1st XV or further afield.
Unfortunately, the four men that led the introduction of the Colts have passed away. Those gentlemen who inspired us to join the Club and establish a Colts system at KRFC were Bill Martin (Manager) who was ably assisted by Don Menaud, Glyn Jones and our coach, Brian Le Voi, who sadly passed away recently. The first official season for the Kenilworth Colts was 1970-71.
Due to the Covid pandemic we were unable to Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the Colts in 2021, but we plan to do so with a luncheon at the Club on Saturday, 12th February 2022. Spaces will be limited to 70 former Colts (7 x 10 person tables). We would like to include the present Colts in this celebration so that they can be a part of the friendship and camaraderie that our game and Club have given us. Please get your names in as soon as possible as it is anticipated that they will go quickly. Price of a ticket is £25.00 for a 3-course lunch includes a bottle of white and a bottle of red wine per table.
