I am delighted to be able to provide you with a significant update on our ground move programme.  On Friday 22 October the Club signed a 'Conditional Agreement for Sale' of the Jack Davies Memorial Ground and The Cow Patch to Bloor Homes Ltd.  This is excellent news and means we can now focus our energy on discharging the related conditions in order to achieve completion of the sale of our land, and the acquisition of the new ground land.

It has taken a bit longer to get to this stage than was originally anticipated, mainly due to the sheer complexity of the negotiations.  A tremendous amount of work has been undertaken by the Club’s professional advisors to ensure that our interests have been safeguarded at all times, and ensuring the maximum return for the Club in the long term.  I would particularly like to place on record the Committee's huge thanks to Mike Blakeman for the pivotal role he has played in getting us to this point.  Further updates will be issued to members as we make further progress.
